Deal with bankers?
group boosts future at
accounts payable service

A deal with the Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota was a recent success for IntelAccount Inc., the accounts payable service and a 2007 Upsize Growth Challenge winner.

The association has agreed to market the service to its 275 members, who receive special pricing, in return for a share of revenue. CEO David Crane says he now wants to duplicate such relationships with similar groups across the country.

?This came out of discussions we had in the Upsize Growth Challenge: find ways to create these kinds of relationships,? Crane says.

He?s also been busy working on funding, completing a $250,000 round earlier in the year. ?We?re doing another one, for $800,000. This will take us to cash-flow break-even by the end of the year.?
